林雲郎 Samuel Lin (Yun-Lang Lin)
音樂總監/總指揮 Music Director & Conductor
林雲郎老師畢業於台灣國立藝專聲樂科，主修聲樂，專攻合唱指揮。之後赴美深造，獲加州州立大學洛杉磯分校 (CSULA) 附屬的華格納合唱研究中心（Roger Wagner Center of Choral Studies）頒授音樂藝術碩士學位。
林老師師承多位世界知名合唱大師，包括 Dr. William Belan、Dr. Roger Wagner（1914–1992）、Dr. Robert Fowells、Dr. Donald Neuen，以及 Dr. Paul Salamunovich，為他的合唱藝術與指揮技巧奠定了深厚基礎。畢業後，他於加州大學洛杉磯分校（UCLA）持續進修，專研合唱藝術與指揮表現。
除指揮技藝外，林老師對歐洲聖樂亦有深厚造詣。他曾在巴哈聖樂權威 Dr. Helmuth Rilling 指導下研習巴洛克聖樂，並向巴黎歌劇院男童合唱團指揮 Mr. Bartok 及德州男童合唱團前指揮 Mr. George Brag 學習兒童合唱藝術，累積豐富的合唱教學與音樂詮釋經驗。
林老師曾獲邀指揮合唱團於美國總統布希面前獻唱，並與世界知名的「華格納合唱團」（The Roger Wagner Chorale）合作多年。他亦曾擔任「加州州立大學室內合唱團」指揮，參與多場重要演出，並常年於洛杉磯音樂中心登台獻唱與指揮。多年來，林老師致力於推廣聖樂藝術與合唱教育，培育無數聖樂人才。他以堅實的音樂根基、豐富的國際經歷及對聖樂的熱忱，成為海內外華人聖樂界深具影響力的指揮與教育者。
Maestro Samuel Lin (Yun-Lang Lin) is a graduate of the National Taiwan University of Arts, majoring in vocal performance. He earned his Master of Music Arts in Conducting from the Roger Wagner Center of Choral Studies at California State University, Los Angeles.
Maestro Lin studied under several distinguished choral masters, including Dr. William Belan, the legendary Dr. Roger Wagner, Dr. Robert Fowells, Dr. Donald Neuen, and Dr. Paul Salamunovich. Their mentorship laid a solid foundation for his artistry in choral music and conducting. After completing his degree, Mr. Lin continued his studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), further honing his skills in choral conducting and interpretation.
In addition to his conducting expertise, Maestro Lin possesses profound knowledge of European sacred music. He studied Baroque sacred works under the renowned Bach scholar Dr. Helmuth Rilling, and received specialized training in children’s choral art from Mr. Bartok, conductor of the Paris Opera Children’s Choir, and Mr. George Brag, former conductor of the Texas Boys Choir. These experiences have enriched his choral teaching and musical interpretation.
Maestro Lin was once invited to conduct a choir performance before U.S. President George W. Bush, and he has collaborated for many years with the internationally acclaimed Roger Wagner Chorale. He also served as conductor of the California State University Chamber Choir, leading numerous significant performances, and frequently performed and conducted at the Los Angeles Music Center.
For decades, Maestro Lin has been dedicated to promoting sacred music and choral education, nurturing countless sacred music talents. With his solid musical foundation, extensive international experience, and deep passion for sacred music, he has become a highly influential conductor and educator in the global Chinese sacred music community.

1988
帶領青少年合唱團赴奧地利維也納參加「國際青少年音樂節」。
Led the youth choir to participate in the International Youth Music Festival in Vienna, Austria.
1989
創立「洛杉磯華人聖樂團」(CCCLA)。
Founded the Chinese Christian Chorale of Los Angeles.
1992
指揮示範合唱團，代表美國西區參加在夏威夷舉辦的「美國合唱指揮協會」研討會。
Led the demo-singing group representing the U.S. West region in the Hawaii seminar organized by the American Choral Musicians Association.
1994
成立「洛杉磯華人合唱團」，隨即成創設「洛華音樂基金會」。
Founded the Los Angeles Chinese Chorale (LACC), and affiliate of the LACA Music Foundation.
1997
帶領「洛華」赴台灣舉行巡迴演唱會，於台灣國家音樂廳演出。
Led LACC on a concert tour in Taiwan, with a featured performance at the National Concert Hall in Taipei.
2001
帶領「洛華」參加奧地利因斯布魯克「國際合唱節」，被音樂節指揮們讚為「準備最充分的團體」。
Led LACC in representing the United States at the International Choral Festival in Innsbruck, Austria, where the choir was acclaimed by festival conductors as 'the most well-prepared ensemble'.
2002
帶領「洛華」參加台灣舉辦的「全球華人總統盃合唱大賽」，榮獲第二名。
Led LACC to receive the Silver Medal in the Global Chinese Choral Competition held in Taiwan.
2006
率團「洛華」參加西班牙巴塞隆納「國際民謠合唱大賽」，榮獲銀牌獎。
Led LACC to receive the Silver Medal in the International Folksong Choral Competition in Barcelona, Spain.
2007
受邀率領「南加兒童合唱團」與「東安兒童合唱團」聯合團隊赴日本靜岡市，參加「第十一屆日本國際青少年音樂節」。
Invited to lead the combined Chamber Choir of the San Gabriel Valley Children’s Chorus and East Valley Children’s Chorus to attend the 11th Japan International Youth Musicale in Shizuoka City, Japan, hosted by the Tokoha Gakuen Educational Institute.
2009
帶領「南加」與「東安」聯合代表隊代表美國前往日本參賽。
Led the joint Southern California and East Valley youth choir team, selected to represent the U.S. at the same Japanese music festival.
2010
應「世界華人基督教聖樂促進會」邀請，擔任馬來西亞吉隆坡「第二十屆世界華人教會音樂大會」高級指揮班講師。
Invited to teach at the 20th World Chinese Church Music Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, hosted by the World Association for Chinese Church Music (WACCM).
2012
率領「南加兒童合唱團」赴奧地利參加「維也納國際青年合唱大賽」，榮獲第三名與特別評審獎。
Directed the San Gabriel Valley Children’s Chorus to participate in the Vienna Youth Choir Competition, winning 3rd place and the Special Jury Choice Award.
2014
指揮兩場《以色列人在埃及》，由160位合唱團員和交響樂團參與，籌款全數捐給台灣屏東「伯大尼兒童之家」和陝西咸陽「角聲兒童之家」。
Conducted two large-scale benefit performances of Handel’s Israel in Egypt, uniting 160 choir members and a symphony orchestra to raise funds for children in need. All proceeds were donated to Bethany Children’s Home in Pingtung, Taiwan, and Herald Children’s Home in Xianyang, Shaanxi.
2019
創立「洛杉磯聖樂團」，並帶領合唱團積極參與各地教會與福音機構所舉辦的音樂佈道會與短宣事工。
Founded the Christian Chorale of Los Angeles (CCOLA) and led the choir to participate in church evangelistic music events and short-term mission ministries.
2021
出版林雲郎老師聖樂合唱曲（一）《心願》
Published the sacred choral work “My Utmost Desire” (Vol. 1)
2024
Organized the “My Utmost Desire” Testimony Concert by Yun-Lang Lin – Cloud of Witnesses

曾受邀至新加坡神學院、中華神學院、國際神學、中華歸主神學院擔任客座講師。Has been invited to serve as a guest lecturer at Singapore Bible College, China Evangelical Seminary, International Theological Seminary, and China Graduate School of Theology.
曾受邀至澳洲擔任雪梨「福音聯盟宣教大會」青少年合唱團指導。Has been invited to Australia to serve as the youth choir director at the Sydney Gospel Coalition Missions Conference.
曾受邀赴舊金山、馬來西亞等地擔任客席指揮。Has been invited to serve as a guest conductor in various locations, including San Francisco and Malaysia.
經常受邀擔任兒童與成人合唱團之合唱講師與比賽評審。Has been frequently invited as vocal coach and jury member for children’s and adult choral competitions.
